30 Days Trip --- Roma

Roma, a city that can't be very interest, maybe I expect too much for it.
Roma this word came to my mind maybe when I was 6 or 7? "All roads lead to Rome."
But when I arrived there I found its not that interesting, maybe because I'm not interest its long long history, just like until now I haven't figure out Chinese thousands of years history.

There are only two things I know about Roma before I came here. Colosseum from movie Gladiator and Fontana di Trevi from many movies.
And this is the Colosseum. If you want go inside, you need to wait in a long long long long long long queue to by the ticket, but! there is a short cut, you can go to Palatino(The Palatin Hill) buy the ticket, there are less queue and the ticket is available for Colosseum, Palatino and Roman Forum.

This is inside of Colosseum, due to its really damaged condition, I can't imagine how magnificent it would be in the past.

A clarion, seems all the Europe use this as a post office logo.

Vatican City --- St. Peter's Basilica. This place is really beautiful, choose a nice day came here, worth to stand in a queue to go inside it.

30 Days Trip --- Florence

Days traveled to Florence started from a traditional Italian breakfast, Giulio told me I should also took a photo with this sport newspaper. Because coffee, "bread"(I forgot the name~) and sports are the life of Italians.

This lucky guy seat here for ages, waiting people to touch his nose, gives them bless and good wishes.

Morning exercise to the top of Florence is a good choice. Florence is not that big, you can travel from east to west only by walk. From this top view, you can see all the bridges on the Arno River. The "Golden Bridge" is very outstanding.

Here is a big one, I call it Golden Bridge because all the shops on this bridge are jewelery shops.

Giulio took me to a local restaurant to have some very delicious food, I do really like the front one, meat source pasta. Sun dried tomato is so nice~~~ It seems can only be found in Italy. Small round chili with little meat ball in side is great!
Mushroom? Em~~~Actually, it shouldn't be served as fresh, it should be cooked in oven or fried or something else, just not eat fresh. I eat fresh because, I thought it should be eat fresh. After the first bite, I found everyone in the restaurant were looking at me. The kind hearted waiter ask me if want to change to cooked one. I don't know how to speak Italian, and the fresh mushroom tasted not bad, I just Thumb Up.

Florence is very beautiful in sunset. Take a seat along the river, look the city melting in the golden sun light.

Second day went to Pisa, the only thing I want to see is the Leaning Tower.

On the top of Tower, you can't feel safe, because you always leaning to one side.

Florence trip ended with three pizzas. Delicious hand made fresh Napoli cooker cooked pizza, not ASDA frozen pizza, not Pizza Express, Not Domino. This is the REAL pizza.

Giulio and Elisa cooked "Beef"( Errrrrmmmm~ Forgot name AGAIN.) and vegetable pasta. That delicious. Want some Italian food? You'd better go to Italy first. I miss Italy a lot, a lot, a lot!!! If I can speak Italian, I really want to stay there for years.

30 Days Trip --- Geneva

Geneva is a reach city, when you take off the train from Geneva station, you will find the Postcards will cost you around 2€，In Paris normally it's only 1€.

Geneva is famous for its lake, Geneva Lake. Its Bank, all the Private bank surround the North part of Geneva Lake. Its watch, Patek Philippe, the worlds top1 watch.

I am a budget traveler, Geneva is expensive, but its beautiful sites are free. Blue water with snow mountain far away, is that Alps?

The water buses can take you to some beautiful places

City sight of Geneva.

If you have any chance, I strongly suggest you to take a ride along the Geneva lake. I took the train from Geneva to Brig, to change the train to Milan. I will never forget the beautiful sights along the lake, that's amazing, gorgeous, and also made me miss home a lot, looks really like my home, except the swiss style buildings.

Brig is a very small town, most people stop here just because they will change train here to Italy. Only used 1hour to have a brief explore of this small town. Quiet, peace and I am the only Chinese tourist here.

Château de Versailles is the place that you never feel boring.
And at that time Murakami Takashi's works were exhibited in Versailles. It is impressive, especially these Japaneses Cartoon Status with French royal palace.

This is one of the most beautiful gardens behind palace, None of the British Royal Gardens can beat these beauties.

Walk out the Louvre, close to Musée de l'Orangeriem, there is a round fountain, a lot of people have a sun bath there.

French people know how to enjoy there life.

The famous Avenue des Champs-Elysées

Arc de Triomphe, to celebrate the victory of Napoleonic War.

If you spend €5.5 for student you can climb to the top of Arc de Triomphe

Panthéon, for most Chinese people, Pierre Curie and Marie Curie are the most famous, except them I was going to see Alexandre Dumas, his book Le Comte de Monte-Cristo is my favorite.

At the end of road in front of Panthéon, a postcard shop, there are many creative, lovely and beautiful postcards, a little expensive.

French people like morning exercise, photoed in Jardin du Luxembourg.

What's different travelling in France than other countries? You can find chairs everywhere, enjoy the sunshine everywhere you want, because they've already prepared comfortable chairs for you.

30 Days Trip --- Paris 1

Four months ago, I planned this 30days trip because I was suffered two things.

One was my girl left me after three and half years sweet and happiness, another was at the same time my dissertation research met a fatal flaw. I took three days made a 30days trip plan want to do something impressive before I got my 25th birthday.

Actually, the plan is very simple: Find buildings stand like "I", "L", "O", "V", "E" ,"U" ,"C", then took photos with these buildings and post these photos to her.

By using my limited travelling experiences, I thought "Eiffel Tower" could be "I", so I started my trip from Paris.

To escape the massive queue and tourists groups, I arrived Eiffel Tower in the afternoon. But unfortunately been told the top floor was closed because there are too many tourists and strong wind. Then I bought the ticket for the second floor, then wait for the elevator to the second floor.

That was where my lucky trip start, after few seconds elevator when the gate opened, the staff told me the top floor opened again!!!

Simply took few pictures on the lower floor then quickly jumped into the line wait the elevator for the top floor.

The Seine is the spirit of Paris.

Now, I am 8240km away from you, distance is not a problem.

==========Second day===========

I love Paris, except its golden sunset view from top of Eiffel Tower, the Louvre is another place.

PS: Entrance free for EU students ( include the international students who studied in EU over six months)

Earth is round? This picture I took from the high area of Brighton.

Finally, the clouds give me a break to take a sunshine view, makes me feel so good especially looking up, see the clouds moving away slowly and the sun light go through the light cloud.

This one looks like a good place.

There are lots of sea birds, they don't afraid human beings, rob the hot chips from your hand. Someone through the chips into the air, the bird can catch it easily and beautifully.

One thing a little disappointed me is the Beach, it is not sand beach. There are small pebbles.

The Brighton city and beach are really beautiful, much better than Bath last time I visited there.

The weather is getting warmer and warmer in England, someone told me I can enjoy Mediterranean weather in Brighton. Then I went there to experience the "Mediterranean weather".

This is Royal Pavilion. I didn't pay for entrance and neither entered, I had saw a lot Royal's stuffs they are just look like the same. Luxury tables, chairs, plates, beds and children's toys and so on. I'd rather to enjoy the Mediterranean weather here.

Finally, I arrived the Brighton Beach. In this picture, this is Brighton Pier. On it, there are a lot carnivals. Fruit machines, roller coasters, and some funny games to win toys.

This road close to beach, looks different from others I saw in UK, I can't tell which style it looks like.

This is Mediterranean weather, 5mins rain then 5mins sunshine. I suddenly remembered a short story I read from New Concept English, which is said an English man moved to Mediterranean wanted to experience the sunshine, but ^_^

Barcelona, Lisbon, Porto --- Food

Finally, I finished all the exams, assignments and essays, left the dissertation, but hand in September.

Easter holiday I went to Barcelona, Lisbon and Porto.
I have a lot of delicious food.

This Barcelona Fruit Market, the fresh juice is really good, If you got there in the morning, normally 1 cup of juice is 1€，and if got there in the late afternoon, you can found 2cups/1€.

Ok, when you arrived spain, you can't miss sea food

This one looks so weired, but! It's very very delicious.Cuttlefish, rice and something else.
Believe me, its very delicious, after you eat it, your tooth will be totally black.

This is the most famous one: Paella

Took a family photo, three kinds of dishes with Sangría

This is Sangría. Some one told me how to make this, the good sangria is made by many kinds of different wines, and add some sugar, fruits in it. So, that's why you can easily get drunk.

This is a small restaurant in Fruit market, always a long queue and you need to wait.

Luckily, we found a table, and the guys who ate before us were very kind, they gave us their receipt and suggest us to order these foods. It's good, but the meat in small seashells are too small~

This is "pastel de Belém", a hundred years history shop made this, a bit more sweet, 90cent per each, you can served with coffee.

This is in Porto, a small local restaurant close to a church. And I strongly suggest you to try the second soup, there is a slice of sausage.

This one is not that impressive, just normal.

And this one is good! if served with rice is perfect, I like Porto rice, tastes like a kind of Chinese rice.

Too much oil, but the codfish is perfect ( I really don't know if there some other beautiful words I can describe this dish, if you know, please let me know. Sorry my poor English)

My friend ordered this, I tried the fish, its codfish, but boiled, the previous one is fried. And the vegetables were boiled.

Trip to Durdle Door

Finally finally this term finished, I have time to write something about my trips.

This time I will show you my trip to Durdle Door, It's amazing!!!

You can take a train to wool railway station, which located west of Bournemouth.

I bought ticket to Bournemouth , because Its much cheaper than direct to wool.

I like the style of this kind of train station, it's like Industrial Revolution period.

After the train, take a taxi to scenic spot which costs 14 pounds.

This area is very famous for the white cliff, what is that？

This picture took from a high point, not far away, there are white cliff.

Two small coves, and the color of see is really beautiful, light blue to dark blue.

Future Trip

I've stay in a small town for nearly 2 month now, because of "Study" ^_^

And last time I traveled to Scotland like lake district, Loch Lomond, Loch Ness (with monster~), High land and Edinburgh and Glasgow.

This was really a good trip and I took a lot beautiful pictures.

I will publish them after I finish my assignment maybe during easter holiday.

and talk about my future trip now.

1. Tomorrow, London, a shot and quick trip to Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, and if I still have time I will go to some where else.

2. 6th March, I'm really expecting this trip to Durdle Door. If weather is sunny that will be perfect.

( one assignment, an essay, 2 exams and one presentation these GOOD FRIENDS will help me to pass 14 days)

3. 20th March, if I'm lucky to get the Visa to Spain, I will spent 5days in Spain and 5days in Portugal.

4. I'm not decided yet. I think I will spent a whole day in Kew Garden, I like plan more than others.

This plant is called Sempervivum Ciliosum.
From Bulgaria.
The next picture will show you the details of this small plant.

The white ones are new born baby plant. But I think some of them died, because they turned to brown color.

This one looks beautiful, but I forgot the name.

And this is Victoria Cruziana (wiki), the wiki said some of them can hold up to 70 pounds weight!!!

This is a lemon tree, it looks usual. But if u look at the next picture, you will be amazed.

Look!!! This is my hand and the lemon. It at least 15cm length.
This lemon tree grows in the first greenhouse which located at the entrance of this garden.

I don't know it's name, just take a shoot, because it's cute, to huge leaves with a small "stem"?

This plant named petrocosmea rosettifolia, comes from China.

Last time I went to Oxford botanic garden, as agronomy student graduate China Agricultural University, I like plant so much.

This greenhouse stand at the entrance of botanic garden. It's very small, and the plant seems not very well.
But there still some amazing plant.

This is the first time I saw such a big well decorated Christmas tree.

The shape of the greenhouses are strange. why they use this shape?

Actually it is not as big as I thought, but I think the real sights are much more beautiful than the movie. Because there are tooooooo many travelers, I only took 3 pictures.

Oxford Trip --- Building

I am still alive after several dead weeks exams. Haven't update my blog for a long time, now I am going to show you some pictures I took from Oxford on 28th November.

This picture took in front of the entrance of Christ Church. I think the only thing in it worth to see is the Harry Porter's dinning hall.

so, this one was took in Christ Church, it's a big square, but the tourists can not walk into it.

I like this picture, I think there must be a story behind this man, but I don't know and the tourists guide does say.

A little horrible, it's a wooden baby.

This is the sign of the Church, maybe some day, I will dig out the story of these beautiful pictures.

This picture took from the University Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It's quite a long name. The view on this tower is amazing!!! You can see 360° of the oxford. Unluckily the weather that day is bad, suddenly cloudy, suddenly shining.

It's getting dark now, and this sundial can now work anymore. I think if people use sundial to find the time, they will be crazy, during the October and November, it's always raining in England, nearly everyday, there is no sun, how can the sundial works?!

This big tree stand infront of an old Castle. And the Wite Glass building it seems to be the Castle's Garden, I guess there must be some fanciful flowers, like ages ago the black tulip.

I really like this Pic. Large grass land tall trees and nobody. It's quiet and made me feel relax.

Trip to Nottingham 1

Haven't update my blog for a loooooong time.

These days I am busy adapting the new environment.

It's really hard for me, I used to live in an easeful school, thinking nothing about future and Job.

I suddenly found Chinese is not a well accepted race because the Media always report the negative things happened in China. Luckily I have some good friends here. Just temporarily forget the nationality.

10th October I went to Nottingham to pay a visit friend who comes from Shihezi, we live in the same Town and study in the same school, China Agricultural University.

Nottingham is really beautiful.

This photo was took in Wollaton Park. There are some wild animals in this park, the Caution is very interesting, it says "take care of estrous deer". Is it means that deer may do something on human beings?

This is a sign of park, but it stands much far away from park gate, nearly 3km away.

He is a good cook, This is the best meal I've ate science I arrived UK.

Last week we went to London. To see the real things that were described in our English book several times. Like Big Ben, London Bridge, London eye.

Beijing Olympic Forest Park

April 25th, the university experienced a Blackout, In order to switch the electric wire, they cut off the school's main electric line. The building being built just passes an important cable that support the whole school's electric.

No power, no water. So I planed to go outside for a relax. It was a windy but glorious day.

The Olympic Games finished eight months ago. I've never been to Olympic Forest Park before. Some told me that park is flood with green, some said it is the most boring park they've been.

The photo was took just infront of south entrance of the Park. The subway can took you to this entrance .

A first sight of the park, green hills, blue water and few people. It's nearly the dream place for me if the concrete path a little less.

It is very beautiful durning the path up to the hill, unfortunatelly I forgot to take photos.

Dad mailed me some photos he took in hometown Shihezi.
After a busy day at school, he always took his digital camera wandering about taking photos in our small town.

He uses this picture to teach me that backlighting sometimes makes the object much more real in a photo.

National Grand Theater

Last weekend CC & I went to the National Grand Theater to enjoy modern orchestra.I booked the tickets online, it is 30 yuan each person.I'm not a symphony fans, the Picture shows you the full extent of the odeum.

The symphony orchestra was made up of Tianjin Youth Orchestra and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. The chief clarinet performer and chief basson performer from Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra played so well.

After that we visited other parts of National Grand Theater.

用1681c接收发送电子邮件

需要的物品：
1.中国移动动感地带SIM卡一张，开通了GPRS功能，必须是CMNET。
2.诺基亚1681c手机一部

步骤：
1。更改手机上网方式。
我的手机是用飞信3元钱30MB流量的包月服务，这个包月包括CMWAP和CMNET流量.如果你的不包括请慎用。此项服务延长到2010年4月。
手机上网方式更改：功能表——设置——配置设置——首选接入点——移动GPRS链接互联网（即所谓的CMNET方式）

2. 邮箱的设置。
因为我用的是Gmail的邮箱，所以我一下只介绍Gmail的设置方式。
Gmail邮箱中的设置：点“设置”然后在“转发和 POP/IMAP”中把“对从现在起所收到的邮件启用 POP”点上，然后记得点“保存更改”

关于POP3的设置详细内容参见（即便不知道下面网页中的东西，按照我的步骤你一样可是成功接收电邮，懒人不必详细研究）：http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13287

手机中的设置：
功能表——信息——信息设置——电子邮件信息——>
1.新电子邮件通知：开
2.允许接收电子邮件：总是允许

Picked a twig of Peach Blossom, put it into a cute conical beaker and tie the ribbon in a bow.

I call it Spring in Beaker.

The temperature suddenly dropped. I took out the winter clothes again.

But the peach bloom. The graduation thesis nearly makes me cracked up .

Two Days in Tian Jin

The train from Beijing south railway station to Tian jin east station only needs 30minutes and they run every 15minutes.
This month I experienced the fastest train in China with my friend. Having been studied in Beijing for nearly 4 years, this is the first time I went to Tianjin. Full of expecting on my trip.

This huge clock stand just beside the Tianjin east station.

This exotic building is just a part of several buildings.
Years ago, Tian jin was occupied. The settlers built these buildings, and there were also some chinese famous people settled down in Tianjin, like Sun zhongshan. They knew some foreign things and built their residences following the foreign styles.

This huge artillery helped Qing army to defend the Tianjin port.
Durning the Second Opium War, our brave spitchered many British Warships.

This picture performed the same roles about those brave Qing soldiers.

The character in the picture is prounced (xi). It is only used in traditional Chinese wedding ceremony.
It means happiness. The photo was tooken from one of the odalisques' bed room.

The picture shows you the whole sight of the Forbidden City. The white line in the middle of the picture is call the axle line.
It symbolizes the back bone of a Chinese Dragon. If some one "break" it, the country will destruction. (There are many legends)

This is the most interesting treasure I saw. This wrought clock was made by Timothy Williamson for Ting dynasty.
The robot can writes 8 characters "八方向化，九土来王". Unfortunately I had no chance to see how it worked.

Parents always over worry about our future. I am the first boy study in the University. It means what? Most of the 80ers know it. We realized our parents' University Dream.
When I first got university, it disappointed me. So I want change, I want to go abroad. This vainly dream make them fervent. They search many long-winded informations and Education Expo on the Internet. They hope me to see and talk with those so called Expert and Foreigners.
I know how expectative they are. But this is my dream, I want to controll it myself. Things run out of my imagine. My aunt joined with my parents. This totally messed up. They all want to help me to realize my dream quickly and "successfully". WTF!!!
This is my dream, it only belongs me! I will try my best to realize it.

I haven't upgraded my blog for months, durning the winter vocation I went back to my hometown I haven't seen my mam and Dad nearly a year.
A Princeton girl went to Shi hezi University to teach English, she named my hometown an English name : Rockriverton, it dilievers the Chinese name perfectly. Rock=Shi, river=hezi, ton=town. A small town located at the Foot of Tianshan Mountain .
Happiness time always short, I returned to University to finish my last term in it.
I went to Forbidden City again.

This photo was token before the Tianan meng.

This building is Tai he dian. The emperor dealt the fairs of country.

The the Eight Power Allied Force stolen many treasures from the Forbidden city, they scraped the gold from this jar which was gilded.

A lot of interesting animals there, but the light and the animals are not prepared to be shoot.
